Pin Wheel Rosette

Good morning everyone. I hope every one is surviving this allergy season. I am barely surviving it. This morning I was going and visiting some blogs. I stumbled on a project tutorial that I have been wanting to learn how to do for a while now. I know its an easy project, but these are the simplest instructions I have found. So I tried it out and it was so easy. I found this on a new blog that I am following, thanks to Momo. Please check this blog out, she has a lot of great crafts on it. http://jinkyscrafts.blogspot.com/   She has an instruction sheet you can print out, with very easy instructions to follow.

I made this rosette with just some scraps I had laying around. I added a Shrinky Dink flower I made with my friend April. I know Shrinky Dink is old school, but it's still so much fun to play with.
Please stop by and give Jinkyk some love on her blog. She is also on Facebook, so please make sure you like her.

Have a great day, and Happy Crafting.

Cute Easter Treat Bag

Good morning, and happy Monday to you. I really didn't have much time to make a project this last week. My kids have been battling the stomach flu, and I also caught a cold this week-end. But we are all on our way to recovery :).

I find that I spend a lot of time on YouTube, which is where I found this cute and easy project. The video I found is by Stampwithtami.com. Thank you Tami for your great video.

I forgot to add a little handle to my bags, oops. I will add it later.

I did ink all the pieces with SU Basic Gray Classic ink, using a sponge. To assemble these cute bags, Is very easy, so I won't bore you with directions. I know this is very short, but I am still not feeling well. I hope you all have a wonderful week, and Happy Crafting

Card/Calendar Book

This week I met with some friends for some crafting time. This week we decided to learn how to use a Cinch binding machine. We decided to make this very handy card holding calendar book.
We started with some bare chipboard and covered it, I covered this one with diamond plate vinyl, which I got off of Ebay. I needed this to be masculine for my Father. For the inside I used Textured card stock that I got from The Crafting Place (there is a link to her store at the bottom of my blog Buy4less). I also used Tim Hotlz Gear Die for the Bigshot/Bigkick, which I also purchased at buy4less. I put those on the cover to break up the chrome look a bit.
I matted the calendar with red card stock to break up the gray and black a bit. I also matted the months with black and gray but in opposite of the page. I did use Stampin Up Ticket corner punch (#119867)to add a little something to the mat.
I also cut the months with Cricut Designer Calendar Cartridge along with my handy Gypsy. I used white card stock for that.

To do the binding we used a Cinch machine, and 1" wire in silver, that I got from Joann's.

It's kind of hard to see but each page is a pocket to hold cards. I am making these in different paper combinations. I am hoping to sell some to support my crafting hobby. If you are interested, please contact me at cricutmomof2@gmail.com

I will be posting other samples later this week. I hope you like my post today. Please leave your comments, I love to hear what you have to say.
Have a great evening and talk to you soon.

Beautiful Flowers

Yesterday I met with my friends Emily and Erlinda, to learn a new Bigshot project. This was what we learned how to do. How to make fabric flowers. This doesn't require a lot of fabric or time. A simple fat quarter can make about 3 flowers, depending on the size you make.
This one was made by Erlinda at my 1st workshop.
This was made by Erlinda for Corrina, she put it on a head band. How adorable.

Supplies needed
Bigshot #113439
Extended Cutting Plates #113478
Flower Folds Die #115970
Hot glue gun
Clips, pins, or headband depending on how it's going to be used.
And  Simple embellishment for the center.

If you would like to learn how to make this please contact me at cricutmomof2@gmail.com

If you would like to purchase the supplies needed, please click on the Stampin' Up! link on the left side of my blog.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a great day.
