Layouts for Thursday

When I picked up the next group of pictures, I gasped a bit. I saw a picture of my Father In Law, and it was hard for me, we didn't know at that time, but this was going to be our last News Years with him. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in June of 09. He  passed away December 15th 2009. So a few tears were shed when I was trying to figure out how to scrap these pictures.

I did shop my book of finished layouts, and I found this one. This was designed by Teri from Heart2Home. All I had to do was put in the pictures and it was done. I don't think I could have designed a layout being so emotional. I hope you like it.

On a much happier note, this layout was fun for me. Again this was designed by Teri from Heart2Home. She is a very talented woman. I just love the colors, but I'm afraid the picture just doesn't do it justice. My sweet princess took these adorable pictures when she was 1 year old.
I just love the old antique look on pictures, and it was fun watching her. Well it's time for me to put my scrapbooking stuff away and get out my sewing supplies out. I need to make Cozies for the small cricut. So my next post will be in a few days. Thanks for visiting me, talk to you soon.

Outside Fun Layout

Its amazing how fast time flies by. This is a layout of us in the park. We had just gotten back from getting haircuts. Corrina was only 11 months old and has had 3 haircuts already. She has tons of hair. It was in January of 2009 and the trees had no leaves.  So I did a cut out using the Heritage cartridge by Cricut. I didn't write down the other carts I used, sorry. I did use the Gypsy to weld the words together.

I did have to Dr.  this layout up. My son got a hold of one of my daubers and some red ink. He added hi touch on it. He added circle ink marks on it. So I had to change some of the grass cutouts and placed them on the red circles. He also go some ink on the edges, so I went over it with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink and inked all the edges to cover the red. It actually looks nice. Thanks Anthony for helping me.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting today. I will try to have another layout tomorrow, since I'm on a roll.

Have a great afternoon.

Tender Moments

I am on a roll, I did another 2 page layout of my kids. I used A childs Year Cricut Cartridge. I just love the silhouette look. These pictures were taking in January of 2009.

I was going to give away some of the kids baby things, and this blow up tub is one of the items on its way out the door. So I took a moment to have the kids lay in it for 1 last time, just to see how much they have grown. Amazingly they grew a lot. It was just too cute not to take a picture. I was also luck enough to catch them playing by the couch together, so I snapped a picture before they moved.

This layout is very simple in its looks, but I like it, and I hope you like it too.

Thank you for stopping by, See you soon

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star layout

Wow, it's been a long time since I have done a scrap page. This photo is from January 09, my daughter is much bigger now. lol.  This photo has been on my craft table for a long time now, so Saturday out of no where it really stood out at me. So I picked it up and looked at it and made this really quick layout.

This photo is my husband and wonderful Daddy and my Daughter Corrina. Daddy was singing to her and she was loving every minute of it. I loved watching them bond, and he looked like he was in heaven holding his baby girl. He was singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to her.

I hope you like my layout, Thanks for Stopping by.

 See you soon.
