Hello there, I hope you are having a great Sunday. I am off to a late start today, but I'm here now. Last week was very weird for my household. I woke up Thursday morning with and overwhelming dizzy feeling. I could not stand up or function, it finally went away Friday evening. Saturday we decided to do a little late Spring cleaning, boy that was a lot of work and we didn't even finish. My son Anthony woke up yesterday with a slight fever, so we fought that all day. I actually got a little scared when it got up to 103.2, but it didn't stay there very long after a Popsicle, some jello and a cool bath along with some Motrin. This morning he woke up just fine. Thank God for that. Enough about me.
Here is my quick post for this week since I really had no time to craft at all. This layout took me all of 20 minutes. It's very simple but cute I think. I used some brads that I had purchased oh let me think about 6 years ago when I first got started with Scrapbooking. lol I guess you can call them vintage now lol. I used The Performance Stack by DCWV. I bought this paper stack last year in El Paso Texas with my Aunt. Oh how I miss her!!! In the pictures my son was a little over 2 years old. He was playing my husbands ukulele that we got on our honeymoon in Hawaii in 2005. So this has so many memories for me. My son is now almost 6 years old. I hope you like my layout today. I am realy hoping that I get to craft this coming week. If all goes well.
Cricut cartridge I used
Phrases "You make me Smile" because my son has a contagious smile.
Thank you for stopping by today, have a wonderful day.

Cricut Challenge 31
I really haven't had much time to craft lately, but I am still trying to participate is die cut swaps. For the month of June there were 2 swaps I signed up for. The themes are Patriotic and BBQ. You have to make a 4" inch cut for each theme.
For the BBQ theme I made a hot dog (above). It wasn't my first choice, but I like the hot dogs better than the first set of cuts I made.
Below was my first set of cuts. It's an apple pie slice, but for some reason it just didn't work for me. So my swap partners are getting a slice anyways lol.

For my patriotic cut I made a Home of the Brave. While I was making this I was thinking of my cousin Javi who was in 29 Palms Calif. for a training mission. So this cut really hit home for me. You see my cousin was in Afghanistan for 6 months in 2010. He missed several holidays with his very young family. Now when I say very young he had to leave shortly after his second son was born. I am truly proud of him and all of our service men and women. They're all in my prayers every night. I love you Javi.
Cartridges I used:
Hot Dog Fast Food Lite at 2"

Cricut Book Organization
Hi there, I wanted to share a organization project that I found on Pinterest. You can find the tutorial here , I just used Photo boxes from Michael's Instead. The plastic boxes in the tutorial are from Staples and are too expensive for me at $11.99 each. The boxes at M's were $1.84 after tax and my moms teacher discount. What a deal. I had to use 6 boxes to accommodate the 231 cartridges I own.
I also used plain card stock to make the file folders and the tabs. In the process of organizing my Cricut Booklets in alphabetical order, I found that I am missing 18 cartridges. This sickens me but, It's my own fault for not writing down who I lent them too. I call it a hard and expensive lesson learned.
Here is a close up of 1 box (below)
I hope you like my post today. It took me about 2 weeks to complete this project and well worth the work. I am now using more carts than before. I would have to sneak in my daughters room at night and get my totes out from under her bed while she is asleep. Now I have the books in my craft room and the carts in my Gypsy. Much easier for me.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting me. I would really love to hear your comments and suggestions.

This is the last page of my book. This is where I will add pictures of the class and a picture of my kids individually. I didnt put them in yet because I didn't want to put photos of the other kids without permission of their parents.
The cartidge I use Plantin School Book for the 2011 2012 class of.
This will be a long post sorry, I will put a picture of the entire book here so you can see it all together.
Here is part 2 of my post
Well this was a true challenge for me. My husband is the absolute hardest person to surprise. When I try to surprise him, it always gets spoiled. But This year I finally managed to get him something that he has always wanted and surprised him. This is the cover I got for his new Ipad in his favorite color. I added vinyl to it, to remind him that he is a great father to our 2 wonderful children. By the way, when he opened it, he was really surprised and happy.
The cart I used for the vinyl decal is
Father's Day Solutions cart.

Good Morning to you all. Evey year I attend a wonderful crop. I get to just craft for 2 days straight. Last week-end was the Faith crop and I had so much fun. I saw some crafters I haven't seen in a long time and it was great to catch up with all of them.
This project is very special to me, I started it a week before the crop but really had no time to devote to it to complete it. So I took it to Faith , as usuall I had no plan for it, I kind of just let it fall into place. And it did just that for me. It took me almost the 2 full days to work on creating this book and another one just like it. My kids end of Pre-School year is hear and I thought about making these for the teachers for a Thank you for teaching my kids. I sure do hope the like it.
Ok here are the details of the front Cover
Cartridges I used:
Recess Cricut Lite for the School house door
Art Philosophy for the windows
Stretch Your Imagination for the bell ( it was an actual dinner bell, I just cut the rest of it off)

Hello there and Happy Sunday to you all. This year I decided to make my Mothers Day gifts for my Mother and Mother-in-Law. My friend Dawn from scrapping the happening, made this adorable kit, so I had to buy one (of course) You can find her blog Here , she has some great gift ideas for sale. This particular basket I made in the above picture is my version of her kit. I got permission from her to duplicate it and I am very happy that she let me. It's such a great idea for any holiday.
The Cricut Cartridge I used
Mothers Day Bouquet for the flowers
SU top note and border punch
Cinch
SU white Twine
Martha Stewarts Monarch Butterfly punch
Misc. buttons
Scotch Liquid glue
In addition to the baskets, I also made cards that were inspired by Pinterest. I made 2 slightly different versions of it.
This one is for my Mother, I hope she likes it.
In the picture below is Dawn's Basket kit and my card for my Mother-in-Law
The flowers were all cut from dies. The centers of the flowers I added pebbles from Heart To Home. You can find her Etsy store Here

Happy Sunday to you, I hope you are doing well. This week I made a single page layout to share with you. My kids have the Little Tykes cars and love to play with them, even to this day at age 4 & 5. I had remembered that I had seen a layout before with the little cars on it, so I decided to look for the cart among the many that I stashed under my daughters bed. LOL This is what I came up with.
Cartridges I use are :
B is for Boys Lite for the cars and the keys
Disney Pixars Cars for the street (I welded 6 street pieces together to get each corner street)
Boys will be Boys for the initials on the car.
Pebbles by Heart To Home
Stampin Up dimensionals

Cricut Challenge 21
Happy Sunday to you all, I hope your enjoying this crazy weather we are having. Yesterday I had a little time to craft, in between laundry and taking care of my kids. This week I made a layout , that I have been meaning to do for a long time. In January of 2010 we went to Bartstow California to visit my husbands Uncle Rex and Aunt Alice. Well they have lots of boy toys and my son was in heaven. So we took him out to the back yard to let him try out all the tractors. Well Corrina had to get in the action too. So I got some great pics of both of them playing with the tractors.
This first L/O above is of Corrina.
This L/O above is of Anthony and Uncle Rex. I really like how this second L/O came out. I might just have to redo Corrina's a bit.
The cart I used is Boys Will Be Boys
I also Used Tim Holtz Gear die
I recently got a new machine called Pazzles. Which I absolutely LOVE. So I will be posting projects from both my Cricut and Pazzles. This decal above I cut using the Pazzles. A few of my fellow Jeepers went to MOAB for the annual Easter Jeep Safari. We could not go :(. But they took lots of pictures and share it with our R-Jeeps Facebook page. So it was like we were there with them.
Well They couldn't find a decal in MOAB that they liked, so they asked me if I could make one for them. Well this is what I made and they liked it. I just love working with Vinyl, I especially love seeing my work on several Jeeps around the Las Vegas Valley. I am hoping that some day I will have a small Vinyl Decal business going. I know I am on the right track.
Thank you for stopping by, see you next week.
Lisa
P.S. I love you Rex My wonderful Husband, without your support I would not be here posting my crafts. You're the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cricut Challenge 15
Hello there, I hope you are all doing well this week-end. This weeks challenge was inspired by DD's Crafts, I was browsing her blog and just loved the way these looked. So of course I had to make them for some friends of mine who are having a birthday around the same time. The top one I use the Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder. On both of them I used some matching Stickles.
The cart I used is:
Smiley Cards the cake and all the layers were cute at 3 1/2"
Thank you for stopping by today, Have a wonderful day.

Cricut Challenge 12
Hello there and Happy Sunday to you all. I hope you are having a great week-end. I have had a ruff one, got hit with a migraine. But I survived, thanks to my wonderful friend and neighbor. She helped me with my kids during my headache.
Well this year I have to buckle down and catch up with my scrapbooks. I have decided to work on the same month for the 2010,2011 and 2012. But each year will have their own layouts for the books. I'm going to try this, hopefully it works.
This layout was at Disney on Ice. The kids were finally old enough to really enjoy and get excited about the show.
The cartridges I used on this are:
Mickey Font for the wording
Cars for the street cut out ( welded several tracks together to simulate an oval track)
This last pic is of the back of my layout. I'm sure most of you know of this little trick, but I'm posting it anyway for those who don't. What I did is, I matted the red on black, so I cut a square on the inside portion of the back card stock that won't be seen out. and I used the inside cutout portion for my mats on my photos. This was I save some of my card stock, and no-one will ever know hehehehe. Well you know that I did that because I am showing you a pic, but SHHHHHHHH don't tell NON-Crafters.
I hope you like my post and leave me some comments or suggestions. Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great day

Week 11 Cricut Challenge
Hello there, I hope you are doing well. I have started to work on a banner for my daughters Leap Year birthday, I have never made one before, so this is new to me. This is a sample I came up with so far. I am not 100% satisfied with it yet so I'm going to continue to cut more things out and see if I like it better.
The carts I used for this are:
Art Philosophy for the banner and topper ( I love this cart)
Hello Kitty for the Font
This is going to take a while for me to complete. It's a good thing I am starting early lol.
Thank you for stopping by today.

Week 7 Cricut Challenge
Hi there everyone, I hope you are all doing well and surviving this Holiday season. I have been trying my best, but both of my kids have been really sick and finally on their way to recovering.
My friend Dawn sent me a S.O.S. text last week. She needed my help, so I ask what can I help her with. Well she is working on a project for her husband and needed a St. Louis Cardinals symbol.
So I got my trusty Gypsy and started to work on it. The white portion was actually easy, just a little welding and dashes added and welded to try to match it as best as possible. The real challenge for me was to create a shadow for it. I had to add all the welded dashes but also proportion it to shadow it correctly. The shadowing didn't come out as perfect as I would like it to be, but it worked for what she needed. I hope her project comes out perfect. I will ask her to send me pics so you can see her finished project. I will post it as soon as I get it.
The Cartridge I used is Printing 101
I do have a project in mind for next week, it will be a cute and fun one.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day. See you soon

Week 4 Cricut Challenge
Good Morning to you all and happy Sunday. Last week-end I went to the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo and I was able to get the new Close to my Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. It's such a beautiful cartridge and I'm really glad that I got it.
So my mother needed a retirement card for a friend of her. So I decide to make the sample card from the AP cart. Very very easy to make. The flowers were a bit tricky to work with but once I did the first one, the second one was easy. I would recommend using hot glue, otherwise you will be sitting there holding the flower together while the liquid glue dries. The only things I changed a bit was, I made it a retirement card instead of a birthday card and I added yellow pebbles from Heart2Home (Teri S.) to add a little dew like effect in the center of the roses. I inked all of the edges with SU Crumb Cake ink.
I hope my mom's friend likes the card.
On a side note I also made a decal for my husbands tool box in the garage. So I played with some shapes to come up with this decal for him. I'm sure you will all recognize the symbol. lol
OK so for this decal I used George and Basic shapes for the circles, Makin' the Grade for the slats, and Plantin Schoolbook for the Jeep. I love to make decals, but Cricut doesn't always have the image I want, so I have to kind of make my own. I love doing that because it really makes it a challenge and its fun to play with my Gypsy.
I hope you like this weeks projects, see you soon.

Outside Fun Layout
Its amazing how fast time flies by. This is a layout of us in the park. We had just gotten back from getting haircuts. Corrina was only 11 months old and has had 3 haircuts already. She has tons of hair. It was in January of 2009 and the trees had no leaves. So I did a cut out using the Heritage cartridge by Cricut. I didn't write down the other carts I used, sorry. I did use the Gypsy to weld the words together.
I did have to Dr. this layout up. My son got a hold of one of my daubers and some red ink. He added hi touch on it. He added circle ink marks on it. So I had to change some of the grass cutouts and placed them on the red circles. He also go some ink on the edges, so I went over it with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink and inked all the edges to cover the red. It actually looks nice. Thanks Anthony for helping me.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting today. I will try to have another layout tomorrow, since I'm on a roll.
Have a great afternoon.

Last Vinyl Decal post, for a while at least
My husband and I loved the T.V. show The Munsters. Since our name is so similar, my husband wanted me to make him a Munsters inspired decal for our tire cover for our RV. This is what I came up with. I used Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge, and October 31st Seasonal Cartridge.
This decal measures 11 1/2" tall and 19" wide.
On another note. I delivered 2 decals I made for some friends this morning, and they sent me pictures of them on their Jeeps. I love how they came out. They worked perfect for them. Thanks Eddie and Becki.
I wont be here for a while, we are on our way to a 2 week vacation. Having a family reunion in Texas, and heading to the Grand Canyon on the way home. Have a safe and wonderful 2 weeks.

Decal for Eddie O.
A good friend of ours, asked me if I could make him a specific decal. I told him I could try and to send me a picture of what he wanted. So he sent me a picture ( the first one on this post). Wow, I thought, I don't have that image on a cartridge. But I tried to make it anyway. So I used several images and welded them together and this is what I made. I think its very close. The long teeth believe it or not is the number 1 from Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge, The skull is from Indie Art Cartridge,The crack in the skull on top is the lightning bolt from the Cars Cartridge, The Horns are from the Old West Cartridge. I welded all the images together, except for the lightning bolt. It amazes me what you can do with the Gypsy, if you just put you mind to it. Thanks Eddie for challenging me on this decal. I hope you like it.
